Comcast Promotes Tracy Pitcher to Senior Vice President of Small- And Mid-Sized Business Operations for Comcast Business Services
Pitcher to Lead Efforts to Deliver Business Class Customers A Best-in-Class, End-to-End Customer Experience
Comcast Corporation, (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), the nation’s leading provider of entertainment, information and communications products and services, today announced that Tracy Pitcher has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Small- and Mid-Sized Business (SMB) Operations for Comcast Business Services. Pitcher joined Comcast Business Services in January 2011 and is responsible for the strategic direction and organizational effectiveness of service delivery, technical operations and care for all of the company’s SMB customers. With a collaborative leadership style and focus on developing and implementing metrics for each touch point in the customer lifecycle, Pitcher has already made a significant impact on the customer experience. She reports to Bill Stemper, President of Comcast Business Services.

Pitcher currently leads a series of initiatives focused on driving improvements in three key areas: customer satisfaction, consistency across the experience, and operational improvements to enhance efficiency. To accomplish these things, she has instilled a variety of processes and metrics that are utilized throughout the entire customer lifecycle. Additionally, she developed operational best practices segmented for each unique type of business customer – from a small business with just a few employees, to a larger company with multiple locations.
Pitcher has been with Comcast since 2009. Before joining Business Services, she served as Vice President of Customer Operations for Comcast’s Northeast division. Pitcher graduated from Women in Cable Telecommunication’s Betsy Magness Leadership Institute and was recognized as one of 2008’s “40 under 40” by Multichannel News. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
